Hairdressing Live was created in 2017 by Paul Davey. It was the first online Live hairdressing academy in the world when it first launched. Paul’s vision for Hairdressing Live was to create an inclusive international online hairdressing academy to showcase and enlist the most talented, creative hairstylists which are consistently pushing our industry forward. In 2019 Paul published the Elements Workbook which is a 4-year comprehensive hairdressing apprenticeship training course for hairdressers and aspiring hairdressers, followed by the video programme a few years later.
Our founder, Paul Davey is a multi-award winning hairdresser who has established an inspiring powerhouse team of highly skilled hairdressers at his salon, Davey Davey. Paul’s passion is education, and he has taught 1000’s of hairdressers all over the world. We feature 70+ educators on Hairdressing Live, including world renowned stylists like Eugene Souleiman, the TIGI artistic team, Robert Eaton, Jordanna Cobella, JB Mazella and many more who all share their knowledge and expertise with our audience.
