I completed the Diploma in Nursing Studies, does it mean that I am a nurse?
Alison courses focus on basic skills-based workplace learning. Our certificate courses typically take 2-3 hours to complete and diploma courses around 15 hours.
A Diploma in Nursing from Alison cannot be compared to a formal, accredited qualification of a Registered Nurse. In most countries, Registered Nurses usually require a degree which may take 3-4 years to complete.
Alison nursing courses offer learners a great introduction to the field of nursing, and they may help them in their application with an accredited nursing course (depending on the entry requirements for individual colleges and/or employers).
