Why aren't the green tick symbols appearing next to the course topic as I continue through the course?

If the green ticks next to your course topics are not updating as you go along, it may just be because the site is slow to make the updates (due to caching of content). Give it a few minutes to catch up and see if the ticks appear. If not, you may need to check the following:

    (1)  All topics/modules have actually been completed.  You can check this by looking at the course outline page. All completed modules will be highlighted in green and if all topics within the module have been completed, they should have a green tick beside their name.

If you find that the topic won't turn green after finishing a topic, you should try the red Next button on the right of the course player to move onto the next topic. You should also click the Finish button after each topic (where relevant).

    (2)   All assessments were fully completed (a green tick should show next to the assessment and a score of at least 80%). If there is no score result, a score under 80% or no green tick, you will have to re-attempt the assessment again.

Once you are certain that all assessments have been fully completed, and all modules have a green symbol signifying completion, you should now have a 100% progress score. Please make sure that you have fully checked your progress and followed the above instructions before contacting us.

    (3)    If your progress still does not read 100%, it may be that your progress score is sluggish to update because you are operating behind a proxy server. Clearing your temporary internet files (cache) can resolve this problem. Information on how to do so can be found here.

If this does not work, please use an alternative web browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome to retake the topic/assessment. There are issues with Internet Explorer at present so we do not recommend using this browser.

Alternative browsers can be downloaded here:

    Mozilla

    Chrome
